Grace HayesWhat Does My Public Library Mean To Me?
by Grace Hayes
age 9, Murfreesboro

My first experience with the library was when at a kindergarten library we were reading.  I brought the book home and I loved it.  I loved it so much I got to keep it.  I’ve had it ever since.  That book was a cave of feelings a small entrance and a big room.  Then I got into chapter books.  Everything was a film in my head its like you are right there.  All my trouble were scattering away when we went to the library.  I like when you ask someone where a book is and they tell you where it is.  I like the funny magician who comes.  I like the cold desks.  I love the books, the big colorful books and the movies are great.  Thank you, public library.
