The 2008 Young Adult Summer Reading Program: Find What's Out There @ Your Library begins on June 2. You can sign up at Linebaugh Library or Smyrna Library.

The Young Adult Summer Reading Program works the like the regular Summer Reading Program -- except there are special events and prize drawings just for teens. The Young Adult Summer Reading Program is open to those ages 12 to 18.

Participants must complete a review slip for each book that is read. All types of books can be included: audio books, e-books, hardcovers, paperbacks, and graphic novels. These slips must be turned in by 4:30 p.m. on each Friday to be entered in the weekly prize drawings.

Participants who read five or more books by July 25 will receive a grab bag of goodies from the library. Grab bags will be available after July 14. You will also be entered into the grand prize drawing to be held on July 29. Learn more about our Summer Reading plans by reading our FAQ.
